High Definition Media Player
The D-Link DSM-510 MediaLounge™ High Definition Media Player allows users to stream music, photo and High-Definition (HD) video files from their PC to their home entertainment system either wirelessly or over an Ethernet network¹.

Compact size with room to grow
The DSM-510 is housed in a small form factor that keeps the cost down, so one can be attached to every television at home. It also includes a USB 2.0 port on the front panel for instant access to multimedia files stored on a removable USB flash drive².

High-Definition (HD) video playback
The DSM-510 supports High-Definition video in Windows Media Video 9 (WMV9), MPEG-2, MPEG-46, DivX®7 and DVR-MS formats³. Resolutions of up to 720p/1080i can be achieved for best picture quality on a HDTV using the HDMI connection.  Standard televisions may also be connected using Scart or Composite Video cables.

Besides, the DSM-510 is DivX® Home Theatre™ Certified, allowing users to play DivX encoded movies (DivX format compressed video files) from their computer on their TV at DVD-quality³. DivX® videos are also a fraction of the size of a DVD, making playback over a home network more reliable.
